First, I praise God and mark his faithfulness with awe. This book is only possible by his grace. Only God. All God. I’m filled with passion to share the message that I believe He placed on my heart and developed in me over the years.
My heart is in the pages of this book. Not long after my relationship with Jesus became personal, I began to realize that God wanted me to connect learning to walk with him to learning how to be a mom. Sometimes for years at a time, I laid this manuscript down, due to other life circumstances. Then just when I thought I would shelve it permanently, I’d sense the Lord saying to resume the work. Over these years, I stretched chapters to cover broader age spans and broadened themes, as our children grew up and as I grew in the Lord. Through every season of each child’s life and mine, a theme rose like a precious gem uncovered: We can become a peaceful mom.
As a result, this book is written for a broad audience—moms in every season of raising your child. Our role changes over the years, yet God’s principles and calling to a mom remain the same.
You try so hard, and God sees it. My stories are samples of treasured markers for where God worked powerfully in my heart through trials, errors, and sweet moments. My prayer for you is that your stories become treasured markers for you.
Moms crave peace. Peace in the ordinary, unpredictable day and in the hard days; peace about decisions, strategies, and how we see our self; peace about developing and restoring relationships. This book equips you to live the ordinary days of parenting in a way that you experience God’s anchoring peace in your soul as you set tone and direction for your child.
I have one big favor to ask—Will you help me spread the word about my book?! Two ways you can help right away:
- Forward this email (or cut and paste parts of it) to all your momma friends.
- Share my book cover and links on your social media. You go to my social media pages and share from there: @teresadglenn on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram with #BecomingAPeacefulMom.
With love and many thanks,
