Something New!

DSC00535Hi Everybody!

Today I’ve added something new to Celebrate The Family. I’m mostly excited but I have to admit I’m a little nervous. I’ve never done video-recording before.

It’s a 12-week video series called “The Will: God’s, Ours and the Child’s”. It’s free!

So, beginning today, I release one video per week on my website. There’s a new tab called “Video Series”. (I know, I’m SO creative, aren’t I?) There will be a few questions below the link to stir your thoughts even more. AND, to make things even more interesting you can watch the video with your hubby, some neighborhood gals, women at work, your small group or all by your sweet self!

Each week I look forward to sharing with you things I’ve learned over the years about participating with God as he molds each child’s will. I’ll share personal stories, scripture, prayer suggestions and strategy. Mostly, I hope you’re encouraged because I think you’re great.

I hope you’ll check it out. Let me know what stirs your heart!

  1. So this past Sunday I was chatting with a dear mom friend of mine about starting a Lenten brown bag luncheon study again this year. Last year we did Ann Voskamp’s 1000 Gifts. She was in but wondered what we would do … and I said let’s pray about it and something will come to our minds. This was Super Bowl Sunday and later that day my family and I tuned in to watch the Panthers take on the Broncos. After watching the BOTH QB’s disappointing post game conferences the verse that came to mind was Luke 12:48 came to mind. And now you applied it to my life as a mom. So today when I received your email, even before viewing, I forwarded it to my friend and said, “How about this one?” Thanks so much for your faithful perseverance in mentoring mothers.

    • Eloise, You have no idea how much your story blesses me!! This is one of my prayers – that women will do the very thing you just shared. Thank you for reading and for sharing. Let me know the day/time, and I will pray for your group.
