Heartache. Health struggle. Relationship challenge. Academic pain. Image issues.
How do we approach these?
What do we want our child’s approach to be?
“Thus says the Lord: ‘Let not the wise man boast in his wisdom, let not the mighty man boast in his might, let not the rich man boast in his riches, but let him who boasts boast in this, that he understands and knows me, that I am the Lord who practices steadfast love, justice, and righteousness in the earth. For in these things I delight , declares the Lord.'” (Jeremiah 9.23-24)
The more we understand and know God, our approach will be with Him.
The same is true for our child.
We learn about and experience God’s traits.
Written and spoken truths that journey through our mind become heart-held.
Secured by God.
Our faith grows to believe that God can change any circumstance….And that when he doesn’t, He has good reason.
That He can move mountains in our lives.
Whether we helped build them… or He allowed them for us to experience His power, as we pray.
Healing. Protection. Breakthrough. Reconciliation. Provision. Peace.
Draw me near to passionately pursue getting to know You. I need Your power to lay down whatever is delaying me from this. Thank you that Your love is patient and ever-present. Amen.
