Loving You MOST, Jesus {day 14} : Overflowing

DSC00477 How much would we delight to respond with love if our child asked for love:

Mom, can I have a hug?
Can you tell me you love me?
I feel lonely; will you keep me company?
I’m insecure; will you remind me that I am of great value?

DSC00484“God, fill me with Your love.”

I pray this daily, for my family and for me.
I need His love in order to love well.

On my own, my love can be conditional.
I get hurt.
I get disappointed.
I give and don’t receive.
I drain.

God’s love restores.
Yet it’s more.

Our heart is not like a gas tank. God fills us overflowing.
We can’t calculate it.
It’s beyond measure.

DSC00476“But, as it is written,
‘What no eye has seen, nor ear heard,
nor the heart of man imagined,
what God has prepared for those who love him…'” (1 Corinthians 2.9)

for those who love him
For those who love Him back from the overflow

Our capacity to love is off the charts because there are no charts to measure God’s love for us.

Pray. Open. Receive to overflow. Give thanks. Love Jesus MOST.
